Description
Excellent condition programme (including the poster that accompanied the programme) from the 1991 FA Cup Final, Nottingham Forest v Tottenham Hotspur.
Other than the fact that Spurs won the Final, this match is generally remembered by the challenge by Paul Gascoigne on Gary Charles. Though Gascoigne avoided what may thought should of been a red card, he was later stretchered off and missed the rest of the game. Stuart Pearce scored from the result of the foul to put Forest 1-0 in front. The Forest keeper, Mark Crossley followed Dave Beasant and become only the second keeper to save a penalty in a FA Cup Final when he saved from Gary Lineker. Paul Stewart equlised for Spurs. Tottenham won the FA Cup for the 8th time when Des Walker put the ball in his own net giving Spurs a 2-1 victory.
