Mint condition programme from the 2005 FA Cup Final, Arsenal v Manchester United.
These two teams met in the thrilling 1979 FA Cup Final. At the start of the season Arsenal had beaten Manchester United 3-1 in the Community Shield. Both teams were making their 17th appearance in the FA Cup Final. No goals ensued in the 120 minutes so the match was to be decided on penalties. Paul Scholes missed United’s second penalty, whilst every subsequent penalty was scored. Patrick Vieirra was left to take the final penalty. Vieirra scored from the penalty handing them their 10th FA Cup Final victory.
