Excellent condition programme from the 1987 FA Cup Final, Coventry City v Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs were hot favourites to win their third final appearance in seven seasons whilst Coventry were appearing in their first ever FA Cup Final. Tottenham took the lead twice before Coventry equalised. The match went into extra time and a Gary Mabbutt own goal handed the Sky Blues their first ever major trophy. Unfortunately for Coventry, English clubs were serving a ban from European domestic competitions and were denied the right to play in the European Cup Winners Cup the following season.
