Excellent condition programme from the 1983 FA Cup Final, Brighton & Hove Albion v Manchester United. United entered this match as strong favourites against a relegated Brighton. With the match coming to a close and the score at 2-2, Gordon Smith had a golden opportunity to seal a famous victory for the Seagulls but missed his (and Brightons) chance to win the FA Cup in their first ever appearance in the Final. The match finished 2-2 and a replay took place a few days later.
